Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip

This is a popular crowd pleaser enjoyed by friends from my hometown in Upstate New York. If you love buffalo wings, then you will LOVE this dip. Chunks of chicken mixed in a creamy, zesty, spicy, cheesy, buffalo dip kind of way!

Food Prep: 10 min.        Cooking Time: 30 min.           Serves: 8

Ingredients:

2 cups cooked boneless chicken breast (shredded)
*(I use leftover rotisserie chicken*Our grocery store sells it
already shredded)
2 8oz. bars of cream cheese
1 cup Ranch Dressing OR 1 cup Bleu Cheese

2/3 cup Frank's Redhot Buffalo Sauce (However hot you like it)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (bagged kind works great, but block cheese grated at home tastes the best since this IS a cheese dip, after all)

  • Mix the chicken and hot sauce and cook w/ a little bit of veg oil.
  • Add the 2 bars of cream cheese to the pan and melt w/the chicken.
  • Add most of the shredded cheese, setting aside enough to cover the top
  • Add ranch OR blue cheese dressing and mix.
  • Pour into a casserole dish and sprinkle w remaining cheese on top.

Bake 20-35 min @ 325  degrees

Serve w a variety such as..Tostitos Chips, Club Crackers, Celery.
